Lawrence Ng is Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of Oversee.net. In 2000 Ng and his colleague Fred Hsu used their collective expertise in online advertising, Internet traffic pattern analysis and search engine optimization to create the Company. Before starting Oversee, Ng was with Startpath.com, an Internet start-up that focused on Internet advertising and the technology and tactics that drive traffic to websites. Through prior positions at both Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, he acquired the solid business practices that have become the linchpin of Oversee. Ng won the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 award for the Greater Los Angeles program in the technology category. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC).
Fred Hsu is President and CEO of AppBank.com, the leading paid crowd-sourced platform for social networks. Fred is also Co-founder of Oversee.net and was the Company's Chief Technology Officer. Prior to creating the Company, Hsu was Head of Systems and Network Administration at Startpath.com. where he built an online ad network from the ground up, including all systems and network infrastructure. Hsu has also served in various engineering and product development roles at Rhythm & Hues Studios and Toyota Motor Sales, North America. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
Scott Jarus is CEO of Cognition Technologies, a next-generation Semantic Natural Language Processing (NLP) company. Prior to Cognition, he was Chief Executive of j2 Global Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCOM), a provider of outsourced messaging and communications services. During his tenure, j2 achieved 15 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and a market cap of $1 billion. Jarus also served as President and COO of OnSite Access, and has held senior management positions at RCN Telecom, Multimedia Medical Systems, and Metromedia Communications. He serves on the boards of FreeConference.com and Ironclad Performance Wear. Jarus earned his Bachelor's and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Kansas.
For the past 10 years, Morgan has been a Managing Director, and is currently a Venture Partner, at Mayfield Fund. He has spent almost 30 years counseling and investing in entrepreneurs and startups. He has closed more than 750 venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. Prior to Mayfield, Morgan was a partner at two Silicon Valley law firms, Latham and Watkins and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He holds an undergraduate degree (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Dartmouth College, a second bachelor's degree and a master's from Oxford University (Christ Church) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia. He serves on the boards of Idealab, Montgomery & Co., BlackArrow, DECA, Electric Cloud, Jobster, Slide, Snap, Tagged, Perfect Market and Zenprise.
Jeff joined Oversee in 2006 as Executive Vice President responsible for DomainSponsor, the company's industry-leading domain monetization business. He then led the growth of the domain services division, expanded into the aftermarket business and built Oversee's owned and operated portfolio of domain names into one of the worlds largest, firmly establishing the company as a leader in Internet real estate.
Prior to joining Oversee, Jeff spent 10 years in executive leadership positions building ASP-businesses that leveraged the power of the Internet as a platform for growth and efficiency. He held a variety of management roles in marketing, sales and product management at world-class technology companies, including Digital Insight (Intuit), Loudcloud/Opsware (Hewlett-Packard) and Siebel Systems (Oracle). He began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co.
He has an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.
Robert L. Morse, Jr. is a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been with the firm since 2001. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments in the Technology group. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he worked at GCC Investments, a growth private equity firm, as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and at Loudcloud, Inc., an internet infrastructure provider. Morse earned a B.S.E. degree, summa cum laude, in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University and a M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
William J. Pade is a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been with the firm since 2004. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments in the Technology group. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he spent 26 years at McKinsey & Company, where he was most recently a Director and the Managing Partner of McKinsey's Silicon Valley office. Prior to that, Mr. Pade was based in London, where he led McKinsey's high technology and telecom practice in Europe. He earned a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Harvard College and a M.B.A., with distinction, from Harvard Business School.
Kamran Pourzanjani is the founder and CEO of Bestcovery.com (www.bestcovery.com). He is also the co-founder and former President and CEO of PriceGrabber. Kamran has an extensive background in developing and operating technology companies. He built PriceGrabber into a leading comparison shopping company. PriceGrabber was acquired by Experian in 2005. Prior to PriceGrabber, Pourzanjani was President and CEO of Syseca Inc., an information technology, software development and system integration provider and a U.S. subsidiary of Thales Group (formerly Thomson), an $8 billion multinational corporation. He joined Syseca in 1992 and was instrumental in developing the near start-up company into a market and technology leader. Pourzanjani has a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Colorado. He was named Ernst & Young's 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year in Los Angeles and was a national finalist in the Services category in November 2006.
